Disputes Resolution Practice
Yuen Law represents individual and organisational clients on either end of a dispute or lawsuit.
For clients pursuing a claim, we will objectively assess the case and advise the best course of action: to sue, negotiate, mediate or arbitrate. For clients being sued, our lawyers will mount a robust defence and/or work towards reaching the most acceptable resolution.
Our experienced lawyers handle complex litigation cases at all levels of the Singapore courts.
We litigate for cases including shareholder disputes, construction claims, property law claims, debt recovery, medical negligence, equity and trust claims, and insurance matters.
As protracted lawsuits can entail a financial and emotional toll, we advise clients if there are more preferable solutions, such as taking the arbitration or mediation route.

INTEGRATED PROPERTY PRACTICE
A neoteric practice group established by Yuen Law in 2023, the Integrated Property Group offers deep legal expertise across the domains of real property, intellectual property and insolvency.
Our aim is to help clients protect their tangible and intangible assets, whether real estate, creative works or personal property.
We provide robust legal assistance across residential, commercial or industrial real estate matters. Our lawyers can represent real estate holding companies and trusts, developers, landlords, tenants, banks, financial institutions, borrowers and purchasers in sale and purchase, leasing, or investment deals.
On the intellectual property front, Yuen Law advises start-ups and corporations on IP registrations, and the commercialisation and licensing of technology. This is particularly salient in Singapore’s flourishing technology and business ecosystem, where brands, products and digital services developed find their way into global markets and should enjoy protections against infringement there.
While no one plans for things to go south, should an individual or company become unable to pay their debts, a debtor can propose a scheme of arrangement to restructure its debts. On the flip side, creditors aim to enforce their claims to minimise losses. Yuen Law provides empathetic but rigorous legal advice in such situations and can represent either creditor or debtor in negotiations.
