Commissioner for Oaths

Yuen Law Singapore lawyers - Commissioner for Oaths

Commissioners for Oaths (“Commissioners”) are individuals appointed by the Board of Commissioners for Oaths and Notaries Public, to administer oaths.

At Yuen Law, we have a number of such individuals, all able and willing to serve your needs.

Commissioners for Oaths preside over statutory declarations, affirmations for affidavits, sign or mark documents and exhibits attached to the affidavit or statutory declaration, usually for use in court proceedings.

Depending on the individual case, there may be additional services required for documents translation, interpreting or reading the contents, and travel expenses. These may then be factored into the overall cost of appointing a Commissioner for Oaths.

Note that the services for the Commissioner for Oaths are different for those of Notaries Public, as documents that need to be notarised are either from overseas, or are going to be used overseas. Yuen Law provides both types of services.

Yuen Law provides assistance in matters concerning the Commissioner for Oaths. Do contact us to make an appointment.
