Yuen Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaspreet Kaur as Director in its Private Wealth and Family Practice.
Jaspreet advises on matrimonial disputes and private wealth matters, including divorce proceedings, custody and access, maintenance, and the division of assets. Her practice also covers probate and estate planning, including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and applications under the Mental Capacity Act.
Her experience includes acting in contested proceedings involving asset tracing and allegations of dissipation, often engaging financial records over extended periods. She has also advised on shareholder disputes, insolvency and restructuring matters, and intellectual property issues, bringing a multi-disciplinary perspective to her practice.
Prior to joining Yuen Law, Jaspreet practised at a Singapore firm, where she handled both contentious and advisory work across family and probate matters.
Outside of practice, Jaspreet is a mother to a spirited young child, which informs her practical and empathetic approach to family matters. She understands that beyond legal issues, clients are often navigating deeply personal transitions. In her free time, she enjoys puzzles, reading, travelling, long walks, and discovering new cafes, and values time spent with her family.
Amos Cai, Acting Head of Private Wealth and Family Practice at Yuen Law, commented:
“Family disputes today frequently involve complex asset structures and business interests. Jaspreet’s breadth of experience and her capability in managing high-stakes contentious matters materially strengthens our ability to deliver integrated, strategic advice to clients.”
Managing Director Samuel Yuen added:
“Our clients increasingly require counsel across family and wealth considerations. Jaspreet’s appointment reflects our continued investment in building a market-leading practice in this space.”
