The loud voices of your opponents are often nothing but a smokescreen for the cracks in their case – I will find them and break them for you.

He is known for his patience and empathetic approach when providing legal counsel for all cases, whether it is advising for legacy planning, trusts, or residential and commercial leases. His proficiency in Mandarin and conversational Korean further compliments and enhances his ability to serve a diverse clientele effectively.

His combination of relentlessness, compassion and commitment to providing a personalised touch ensures that Yuen Law’s clients will get the legal representation, support and reassurance they rightly deserve throughout their legal journey.

Previously, Yun Heng worked on several high-profile cases as Partner at KSCGP Juris LLP. Notably, he assisted in representing the Law Society in Iskandar bin Rahmat v Law Society of Singapore [2021] 1 SLR 874., where the man convicted in the Kovan double-murder case appealed to have a formal investigation into his trial lawyers’ conduct. The Court of Appeal confirmed its jurisdiction to hear such appeals, clarifying that disciplinary proceedings fall under the court’s civil jurisdiction.

Separately in Raffles Education Corp Ltd and others v Shantanu Prakash and another [2023] SGHC 89, Yun Heng was engaged in 16 days of trial in the High Court involving complex and high-value claims from a well-known Singapore listco.

As time permits, Yun Heng extends his legal expertise under the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS), providing pro bono criminal defence representation to individuals charged with non-capital offences and cannot afford a lawyer.

“I am looking forward to practising the law alongside my talented colleagues at Yuen Law,” says Yun Heng. “The law can be difficult to understand or unpredictable in its application at times, but with the wonderful team here at Yuen Law – it does not have to be so.”

Samuel Yuen, Yuen Law’s Managing Director, adds: “I am pleased to have Yun Heng join our team. His technical exactitude and commitment to probing every angle in legal disputes will bolster our firm’s fight to always achieve the best outcome for clients.”
