Yuen Law has been ranked (Band 3) in the practice area of Startups and Emerging Companies, a category that has been included for the first time in the renowned legal directory.
Samuel Yuen, our founding managing director and head of Corporate Practice Group, has also been recognised as a leading lawyer (Band 3) in the same category. The rankings are independent and unbiased, with in-depth client interviews in which factoring highly in the ranking decision. Besides interviewing a firms’ clients anonymously, researchers also speak to peers who have worked with a firm’s lawyers and assess the firm’s recent work.
Factors assessed include client satisfaction, a department or lawyer’s expertise, understanding of the industry, diligence and value for money – particularly when it comes to saving money for clients.
Chambers Asia-Pacific 2021 covers jurisdictions including Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, and over 30 areas of law are featured, including Arbitration, Capital Markets, and Corporate / M&A, and Offshore and Gaming & Gambling.
The 2021 edition featured 4,136 department rankings and 7,443 individual rankings, and we are honoured to be among their good company.
