Ranked Among the World’s Best Financial & Corporate Law Firms and Lawyers

IFLR1000 is an independent legal directory for top law firms and lawyers servicing the finance and corporate sectors. The research team makes its qualitative rankings following thorough research into the transactions handled by the firm or lawyer, and client feedback.

Transactions are evaluated for complexity and innovation involved in the deal or its structuring. Only firms and legal practitioners that advise on a share of the most complex or innovative transactions in their markets for at least three calendar years or research cycles are considered.

Making the cut into IFLR1000 rankings is a mark of handling a significant volume of deals that are of a highly sophisticated and impactful nature, as well as excellent servicing of clients. Selection is purely based on merit and firms/lawyers do not pay a fee to be ranked.

Peer feedback is part of the research taken into consideration. IFLR1000 invites all partners and senior lawyers active in relevant practice areas to share feedback on firms and lawyers, as well as the market trends that inform the researchers’ understanding of the most significant deals in the market.
